Why a visual story?
Visual storytelling enhances learning by facilitating comprehension, emotional connection, and engagement. The Thalidomide catastrophe had a profound impact on individuals and society in the 1960s. To support the case study in the curriculum, we developed a visual story to convey the context and process of discovery, research, development, registration, manufacturing, and delivery of the drug and what went wrong.
The visual story was developed by Jordan Collver, Rik Worth, Owen Watts and Arnold Bosman.
