Kobay Test Animal Lab Industry And Trade Inc., established on September 12, 2008, is a company born from the vision of its founder, Veterinary Surgeon A.Begüm Buğdaycı, a distinguished graduate of Ankara University’s Veterinary Faculty.

Buğdaycı’s innovative project to meet Turkey’s demand for healthy laboratory animals won first place among 750 entries in the “Bir Fikrin mi Var?” business idea competition, supported by Bilkent University, Cyberpark, GYİAD, Akbank, and LabX, leading to the establishment of Kobay as a startup powered by investment from business leaders who believed in the mantra

“Healthy production with healthy test animals leads to healthy experiments and healthy results”​​.
